Vintage Furniture Warehouse open day - OCD

Hi, Just want to thank all who attended our first Vintage Furniture Warehouse open day to the public last Sunday, what a great attendance especially considering that Ireland was playing in their opener of the Euro's.  Because of the great reaction we had on the day, we are in the process of planning our next opening to the public which will take place over a weekend, so to give more opportunity for people to attend (date not confirmed as of yet) we will be posting it soon via this blog, facebook and other media and will try to give as much notice as possible.  We have lots of interesting pieces, vintage dining sets, Egg chairs, Leather recliners from the 1970s, Eames dining chairs, 1960s Chromcraft dining set, vintage coffee tables, vintage mirrors and a whole range of other interesting retro and eclectic on off pieces.  Lots of love to my vintage design tribe :)

The Original Compulsive Brocante Furniture Market is back this Sunday the 15th May, all usual suspects will be on show such as Mid20C, Sibyl Vayne Antiques, Retrorumage, Original Compulsive Design, Kirkmodern and many other individuals exhibiting their one off  unique items of desire.  Lots of beautiful pieces on view and some great bargains to be had at The Brocante furniture Market, Newmarket Square, Dublin 8.  If you are craving some retro or vintage and you need a fix,  please get yourself and your tribe to this great gem of a market, their is free parking available, so no stress involved trying to find a space and to make the day even better, their is some wonderful fresh Italian food and some great great coffee to have from Ashling and Luca, if you get the chance to attend you will not be disapointed and if you do get their please say hello.

Hi our new vintage design studio has just opened in Kilkenny. We have been trying to open a vintage design shop for nearly two years now and we are very relieved that we have achieved it. We tryed to open up in Thomastown but what with flooding and bad timming, it just didnt happen, so you can imagine that we are very very happy to announce, that we are based in 11 Irish Town, which is at the bottom end of the high street in the oldest part of Kilkenny. The shop has been used as a car showroom and prior to that it was a bar and it has a real nice ambience. We have tried to keep it simple, to keep our concept clear and to let the furniture speak for itself. Why not come a visit us for your retro and vintage design needs.

At last Original Compulsive Design have finally got themselves together and have opened their doors to the public in the heart of Kilkenny city. Its been a while in comming but worth the wait. A vintage design store in Kilkenny . Very cool pieces of furniture, lighting, ceramics and art from the the 1950’s to 1980’s.

Kilkenny gave us the Kilkenny design centre and now we have the birth of the Kilkenny Vintage Design Studio in the heart of irish town, speacialising in original pieces of very cool furniture.
